We were closely monitoring the evolution of COVID-19 as cases emerged in Minnesota and our local community. Proper hygiene standards are not new to us – our regular protocols require thorough hygiene between each patient interaction at Mindfully Healing. It has always been our goal to provide a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff. Due to recent events, we cannot ignore the contagious nature of this virus and have taken additional safeguards and precautions as we prepare for COVID-19.
To ensure the continued safety of our patients and staff, Mindfully Healing has established the following guidelines with immediate effect. Employees with symptoms do not come to work. All standard hygiene protocols remain in place and are expanded to ensure that all surfaces are disinfected prior to any patient interaction. As always, all employees wash or disinfect their hands before and after each patient interaction. Our lobby, public areas and bathrooms are cleaned regularly. Hand disinfection stations are available and are constantly being refilled.
In addition, we are ready to offer telemedicine to customers who prefer to stay at home for their sessions.
Due to Governor Walz’s recent mandate, masks are now required in our facility. Please note, however, that as directed by Governor Walz, a mask is not required for anyone with physical or mental health problems that affect the ability to safely wear a mask. We will no longer need masks in our office if the governor cancels the mask mandate.
